Description
Proof Operator (Part Time)
Operates a proof machine, encodes, endorses checks and deposits and performs a variety of clerical functions relating to check processing.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing transactions consisting of checks, deposit tickets, payments and other accounting documents received from banking centers and other sources by encoding/keying numerical data.
- Verifies the dollar amounts of deposits and withdrawals are in balance and verifies account and routing numbers on the MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) are encoded for automated processing.
- Performs routine maintenance on proof machines such as replacing ribbons, print out tapes and general cleaning of machine to ensure proper performance.
Qualifications
- Position entails sitting for long periods of time while performing repetitive data entry motions supported by strong hand and eye coordination.
- Must be flexible with working hours as beginning and end of day close-out times vary depending on daily volumes.
- Extensive on-the-job training is provided.

Mon, Wednesday, Friday from 7:00pm until close (between 1:00am-3am) and every other Sunday beginning at 9am until close (12-2pm)
