Description
Sales and Service Specialists are primarily responsible for leading from the lobby, providing basic service and sales to customers, and performing teller transactions. Recognize and respond during the appropriate times and circumstances to perform each role. Function as a scheduled personal banker or teller during times that the banking center experiences greater volumes of customer traffic. Compensate for the planned or unplanned absence of an associate. Demonstrate Bank of America core values in all actions. May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical. Responsibilities:- Establish, retain, and deepen relationships with banking center customers and potential customers to achieve team sales goals and provide quality customer service- Resolve complex service issues or refer to appropriate associate to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention - Provide basic sales activities while referring more complex requests (e.g., complex small business accounts or mortgages) to an associate with more in-depth expertise- Recognize and respond to immediate sales or service capacity need of the banking center in order to reduce customer wait time- Process transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust, based on established policies and procedures- Act as ambassador of the bank-smile and greet customers using Bank of America Spirit
Qualifications
Required Skills: High School Diploma/GED; Minimum of six months cash handling experience and customer service experience; One year or more of sales experience in a goal and/or commission-based environment within the past three years; Comfortable with measurable sales goals, and demonstrated performance in achieving and exceeding those goals—must rank within the top 25% of your peers in your current sales results; Ability to provide clients with information, data and advice, as well as respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and manage difficult situations with customers; Sell the bank’s products and services while advising customers; Demonstrate problem-solving, teamwork abilities and ability to be proactive; Perform written and verbal communications utilizing standard business ethics.
Desired Skills: Experience in commissioned sales and experience with sales goals; Ability to promote sales of credit and loan service and completing credit and loan documentation; Demonstrated leadership and assertiveness; Bilingual (fluent verbal and written) skills.
